Description:

  • The Data Scientist (The Insight Alchemist) position is focused on uncovering insights from large datasets to influence business strategies.
  • The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders, to transform data into valuable insights.
  • Key responsibilities include analyzing complex datasets, developing machine learning models, creating data-driven recommendations, and delivering insights that enhance product development and customer experience.
  • The Data Scientist will perform data analysis and modeling, develop predictive models, engage in data exploration and feature engineering, and collaborate with teams to translate needs into data science solutions.
  • Responsibilities also include designing A/B tests, creating data visualizations and reports, and staying current with advancements in data science and AI.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have strong knowledge of data science techniques, including machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling, with experience in tools like Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
  • Proficiency in data wrangling and feature engineering is required, along with experience in preparing large datasets for machine learning using SQL, Pandas, or similar tools.
  • Hands-on experience in developing and deploying machine learning models, including regression, classification, clustering, and time series analysis, is essential, as well as familiarity with cloud-based platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Expertise in data visualization and communication is necessary, with the ability to present complex findings using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills are required to work effectively with cross-functional teams and convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field is required, with equivalent experience in data science also valued.
  • Candidates should have 3+ years of experience in data science or analytics, with a proven track record of generating insights from large datasets and driving business decisions.
  • Experience with cloud-based data services for model training and deployment is highly desirable.
