Description:
The Data Scientist (The Insight Pioneer) role involves uncovering insights from complex datasets and translating them into actionable strategies that drive business impact.
The position requires building predictive models and employing statistical techniques to solve challenging problems.
The Data Scientist will collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to design, develop, and implement models that enhance processes and support operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include developing and deploying machine learning models for predictive analytics, analyzing complex datasets, collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing and automating data pipelines, monitoring model performance, applying advanced statistical techniques, and promoting a data-driven culture.
Requirements:
Candidates must have strong experience with machine learning and statistical analysis, specifically in building machine learning models and applying statistical techniques to extract insights from data.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R for data analysis and model development is required, along with familiarity with libraries like pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn) to present data findings clearly is essential.
A strong ability to query and manipulate large datasets using SQL and other data manipulation tools is necessary.
Candidates should demonstrate problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a proven ability to approach problems methodically and develop innovative solutions.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field is required, with equivalent experience in data science and analytics considered.
Certifications in data science (e.g., Certified Data Scientist, AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty) are a plus.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in data science, with hands-on experience in data analysis, machine learning, and model deployment, is required.
Experience with large datasets and cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is advantageous, and a background in finance, healthcare, or marketing analytics is desirable but not required.
