Description:

  • The Data Scientist (The Insight Pioneer) role involves uncovering insights from complex datasets and translating them into actionable strategies that drive business impact.
  • The position requires building predictive models and employing statistical techniques to solve challenging problems.
  • The Data Scientist will collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to design, develop, and implement models that enhance processes and support operational excellence.
  • Key responsibilities include developing and deploying machine learning models for predictive analytics, analyzing complex datasets, collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing and automating data pipelines, monitoring model performance, applying advanced statistical techniques, and promoting a data-driven culture.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have strong experience with machine learning and statistical analysis, specifically in building machine learning models and extracting insights from data.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R is required, along with familiarity with libraries like pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn) is necessary for presenting data findings effectively.
  • A strong ability to query and manipulate large datasets using SQL and other data manipulation tools is essential.
  • Candidates should demonstrate problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a proven ability to develop innovative solutions.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field is required, with equivalent experience considered.
  • Certifications in data science (e.g., Certified Data Scientist, AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty) are a plus.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in data science, with hands-on experience in data analysis, machine learning, and model deployment, is required.
  • Experience with large datasets and cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is advantageous.
  • A background in a specific domain such as finance, healthcare, or marketing analytics is desirable but not required.
