Description:

Ccube is urgently hiring for a Data Scientist position in British Columbia, Canada, which is a remote, full-time role for experienced candidates.
The ideal candidate should have 10-12+ years of experience, with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, and Vertex AI.
Responsibilities include designing and developing machine learning models for predictive analytics, applying advanced statistical techniques, and creating optimized data pipelines for model training and deployment.
The candidate will deploy and manage ML models using Vertex AI, AI Platform, and BigQuery ML, and build scalable data pipelines using Cloud Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Composer.
Collaboration with data engineers, cloud architects, and business teams is essential to align models with business goals and translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations.
The role requires ensuring scalability, performance, and security of cloud-based data solutions.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 8+ years of experience in IT with a focus on Data Science and Machine Learning.
A minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience with GCP cloud services is required.
Strong knowledge of Python, SQL, and TensorFlow/PyTorch is essential.
Proficiency in BigQuery, Vertex AI, Cloud ML Engine, and Dataflow is necessary.
Experience with MLOps practices and tools such as Kubeflow, MLflow, or CI/CD pipelines is required.
