Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Team Lead to manage and optimize our data infrastructure, analytics, and reporting for a rapidly scaling Payment Orchestration company.
The company has been operating for over four years and has a growing presence in the USA and European markets, relying heavily on data-driven decision-making to enhance services, optimize revenue, and provide value to merchants.
The Data Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining data accuracy, security, and accessibility while driving insights that support our growth trajectory.
Key responsibilities include defining the long-term vision for data utilization, establishing data governance policies, leading the design and implementation of scalable data architectures, and ensuring data accuracy from various sources.
The role also involves developing dashboards and reporting tools, leading a team to ensure optimal results, and staying updated on technological advancements and regulations in online payments.
The Data Team Lead will promote the team's core values and ensure compliance with objectives and timelines while improving processes to optimize results.
Requirements:
A minimum of 7 years of experience leading teams within data and implementation environments is required.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field is necessary.
Previous experience and knowledge within the online payments industry is highly appreciated.
The candidate must be able to utilize multiple data sources to drive expected returns and identify trends to mitigate negatively trending KPIs.
Experience with Business Intelligence software (Qlik Sense, Tableau, etc.), statistical and coding packages (SPSS, Python, SQL, SAS, etc.), and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.
A well-rounded background balancing tech and business is highly recommended.
Fluency in spoken and written English is required, and a good understanding of Spanish is a plus.
Outstanding oral and written communication skills are necessary, with the ability to communicate confidently at C-levels.
Attention to detail, organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple projects while delivering timely results are essential.
Experience with integration projects within a large global company in professional services, payments, or technology is required.
A proven track record of driving change using data to make informed decisions is necessary.
The candidate must have a deep understanding of different connections for receiving files (SFTP, webhooks, APIs, etc.) and their application to payment methods.
