Description:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate leader to join our Payments team as a Data & Implementation Team Lead.
Your job will be very focused on leading a team in charge of different areas within the department to guarantee the quality, standardization, and accuracy of the data.
You will review and implement different merchant accounts, allowing the entire area to access data that will be used to optimize the company's revenue.
You will be responsible for optimizing processes to improve control and information access for our main stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment, and analytical skills for implementing strategies that enhance data use in decision-making.
You will define the long-term vision for leveraging data across the business to drive growth, innovation, and efficiency.
You will establish and enforce data governance policies and frameworks to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
You will lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable data architectures and platforms.
You will identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, data accuracy, and implementation optimization.
You will ensure the accuracy and integrity of data collected from various internal and external sources.
You will lead the development of dashboards, reporting tools, and statistical models for real-time visibility into operational performance.
You will support your team to ensure optimal results through proactive monitoring, analysis, and follow-up on merchant data, performance, and operations.
You will stay updated on technological advancements, online payments regulations, and business reporting standards for continuous improvement.
You will recommend and execute best practices in partnership with area leadership to ensure optimal control of team responsibilities.
You will act as team leader, ensuring compliance with agreed objectives and timelines, and anticipate complications that may arise.
You will promote and transmit the team's core values, seeking excellence in communication and technique.
Requirements:
You have a minimum of 4 years of experience leading teams within data & implementation environments.
You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
Previous experience and knowledge within the online payments industry is highly appreciated.
You are able to utilize and understand multiple sources of data to drive expected returns and identify trends to mitigate negatively trending KPIs.
Experience with Business Intelligence software (Qlik Sense, Tableau, etc.), statistical & coding packages (SPSS, Python, SQL, SAS, etc.), and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.
A well-rounded background to balance the line between tech and business is highly recommended.
You must be able to speak and write fluently in English; a good understanding of Spanish is a plus.
You possess outstanding oral and written communication skills and can communicate confidently at C-levels.
You have attention to detail, organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple concurrent projects while delivering timely and accurate results.
You have experience with integration projects within a large global company in professional services, payments, or general technology.
You have a proven track record of driving change and using data to make informed decisions on setting up tools and procedures.
You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective alignment with business and client needs.
You have a deep understanding of different connections for receiving files (SFTP, webhooks, APIs, etc.) and their application to the implementation of payment methods.
