The Data Tech Lead will take ownership of the data analytics strategy and execution.
This role will lead a team of Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and BI Specialists.
Responsibilities include developing and implementing a comprehensive data strategy, building and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes, and managing and mentoring the data team.
The Data Tech Lead will implement and maintain BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, and Looker.
Ensuring data quality, availability, and security is a key responsibility.
The role involves collaborating with business teams to translate business needs into data solutions and optimizing data warehouse and infrastructure using Snowflake, BigQuery, and Redshift.
The Data Tech Lead will define key metrics and drive analytical reporting, as well as oversee ML solutions implementation if applicable.
Utilization of Apache Airflow and other orchestration tools is expected.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or a related field.
Proven experience managing or leading a data team, including Data Engineers, Analysts, and BI Specialists, is required.
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python is essential.
Experience with ETL, data pipelines, and orchestration tools such as Airflow and dbt is necessary.
Knowledge of Data Warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, and Redshift is required.
Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Looker is essential.
Expertise in data architecture and governance is necessary.
Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, GCP, or Azure, is required.
Strong communication and prioritization skills are essential.
Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate/Advanced level is required, while knowledge of Ukrainian is a big plus.
Experience in ML or Data Science, knowledge of Data Governance principles, and familiarity with ELT tools like Fivetran, Stitch, and dbt will be considered a competitive advantage.
