Description:
Vectra is seeking a Data/Analytics Engineer to support its Business Operations organization, which focuses on revenue delivery and customer satisfaction.
The role involves setting up and managing data infrastructure for all go-to-market (GTM) data.
Responsibilities include building and optimizing end-to-end data pipelines on a modern data stack and creating business reports and dashboards.
The engineer will move and transform data from various sources for analysis and visualization.
The position requires designing, building, and maintaining scalable ELT pipelines using SQL and DBT, as well as developing and maintaining documentation for data models and workflows.
The engineer will implement data quality and validation checks to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
Collaboration with stakeholders is essential to collect requirements and write code for secure and trusted data models.
The role includes leveraging tools like Python Boto3/Botocore and Pandas for scripting and automation tasks in AWS Lambda.
Proactive data exploration and analytical deep dives to discover insights or opportunities are expected.
The engineer will deliver data insights through dashboards, memos, and presentations, and collaborate with business and data analysts to model data structures.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3+ years of hands-on experience as an analytics engineer, data analyst, data engineer, or in a similar role.
Significant experience in data modeling and data warehouse architecture is required.
Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery is necessary.
A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience working with dbt is required.
Business acumen and experience in functional areas such as Product, GTM, Finance, Marketing, or Customer Experience are essential.
Exceptional verbal, written, and listening skills are required to communicate effectively with a diverse audience.
Preferred tools experience includes SQL (Snowflake preferred), DBT, Fivetran (2+ years), Data Warehousing, Data Lake (AWS S3), GitHub, Performance Tuning & Optimization, Governance, Data Modeling tools, and BI Visualization (Tableau/Looker/etc.).

Vectra offers a competitive total rewards package with cash compensation ranging from $111,000 to $150,000 USD, depending on location, experience, and relevant pay position.
