Remote Database Administrator

Description:

• Node is seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join their cloud migration initiative focused on modernizing applications across multiple cloud platforms, including AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure.
• The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless migration, optimization, and management of databases as part of the modernization strategy.
• This position is remote and requires US citizenship or Green Card status.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
• Proven experience as a Database Administrator with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure is necessary.
• Strong knowledge of database management, optimization, and administration in cloud environments is essential.
• Experience with cloud-native database solutions and services is required.
• Familiarity with migration tools and techniques for cloud environments is necessary.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting, are essential.
• Certifications in AWS, GCP, or Azure database management are highly desired.
• Experience in a multi-cloud environment is a plus.
• Understanding of application modernization practices and principles is preferred.
