Description:

BillingPlatform is seeking a skilled Database Administrator (DBA) with a strong background in Oracle and a proactive, solutions-driven mindset.
The role requires excellent problem-solving abilities to quickly analyze systems, troubleshoot functionality, and implement effective solutions.
Key responsibilities include designing and developing new features, reviewing and optimizing existing code, and executing proposed improvements to enhance system performance.
The DBA will build database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user’s specialized role.
The DBA will design and implement databases in accordance with end users' information needs and views.
High-speed transaction recovery techniques and data backup will be utilized to minimize database downtime and manage parameters for fast query responses.
Proactive and reactive data management support and training will be provided to users.
The DBA will determine, enforce, and document database policies, procedures, and standards.
Regular tests and evaluations will be performed to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity.
The DBA will monitor database performance, implement changes, and apply new patches and versions when required.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is required.
Oracle certifications are preferred.
Experience with Linux and Windows Server environments is necessary.
Extensive experience with database technologies such as MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB is required.
Experience with cloud services like AWS and Microsoft Azure is a plus.
Proven working experience as a DBA is essential.
Hands-on experience with database standards and end-user applications is required.
Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity, and SQL is necessary.
Familiarity with database design, documentation, and coding is required.
Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third-party tools is necessary.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think algorithmically are essential.
