The role involves taking ownership of existing and new database infrastructure for multiple platforms and facilitating releases into new regions.

Responsibilities include slow query monitoring, proactive adjustment of database system capacity, automating deployments, and enhancing existing dashboards.
The position requires on-call responsibilities on a rotating pattern.
The technology stack includes MySQL, MongoDB, AWS EC2, Cloudwatch, RDS, Redshift, Grafana, Prometheus, Terraform, Python, and Shell.

Requirements:

Candidates should have 4+ years of experience managing advanced MySQL and MongoDB problems.
Hands-on experience with AWS RDS and Redshift is required.
The ability to deliver quality documentation and operational runbooks is essential.
