Description:

cFocus Software is seeking a Database Administrator to support Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
This position is remote and requires an active TS/SCI clearance.
The Database Administrator will maintain the Oracle data warehouse to meet the reporting needs of the business and maintain the data model.
Responsibilities include conducting consistency and health checks to ensure the database operates efficiently, as well as troubleshooting, debugging, and taking corrective action when necessary.
The role also involves designing the schema to support the ingestion of new data sources identified by OAFM to support the Fleet Program and geospatial requirements of the application.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
An active TS/SCI clearance is mandatory for this position.
Candidates must have 3-5 years of work experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
Familiarity with Oracle database design, coding, and documentation within the AWS environment is necessary.
Applicants should have 3-5 years of work experience in database backup procedures, recovery systems, and SQL.
Knowledge of programming languages and APIs is required.
The ideal candidate should be a problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills, are essential.
