Description:

The Data Architect will be responsible for integrating multiple databases, including Snowflake schema, Star schema, Network model, and others.
They will work with various message buses like Kafka, IBM MQ, and targets such as Redshift, Postgres, MongoDB.
The role involves designing and deploying for scale to meet performance and functionality requirements.
Database recovery with sequence and time constraints will be a key responsibility.
Collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to define future-state business capabilities and translating them into data architectures.
Partnering with platform architects to ensure implementations meet platform principles and standards.
Analyzing the current technology environment to recommend solutions for improvement.
Developing and maintaining data services, interfaces, and real-time data pipelines using emerging technologies.
Implementing continuous integration and continuous deployment for data pipelines with automated testing.
Mentoring and supporting the team to achieve organizational goals.
Advocating for agile practices to increase delivery throughput.
Creating and maintaining development standards consistency.

Requirements:

7+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
10+ years of experience designing and supporting near real-time data pipelines using various technologies.
Proficiency in object-oriented languages like .Net, Java, Python for streaming analytics.
Experience translating business requirements into data models using Erwin.
Strong background in agile teams delivering data solutions.
Experience in developing MDM solutions and public cloud platforms.
Ability to write automated tests for data interfaces and pipelines.
Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective teamwork, communication, and negotiation.
