Requirements:

You must have 5+ years of hands-on experience with SQL Server, including SSMS, T-SQL, and performance tuning.
Experience in ETL/ELT pipeline development is required.
A strong background in debugging and optimizing complex SQL queries is essential.
You should have experience with version control, such as Git or an equivalent, for database code.
The position primarily focuses on Back-End Data Engineering.
You must be comfortable working across data platforms and enterprise-level database systems.
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills are a must-have.
You should be a proactive communicator and self-starter.
Comfort in working within loosely defined project scopes with evolving requirements is necessary.
Clear and concise written documentation skills are required.
You must be an effective communicator in remote or hybrid environments.
Experience with Google BigQuery, including SQL dialect, partitioning, clustering, and optimization, is a nice-to-have.
Knowledge of GCP data services, such as Cloud Storage, Dataflow, and Cloud Functions, is preferred.
Familiarity with data ingestion tools and patterns between on-prem SQL Server and GCP is beneficial.
Experience migrating databases from SQL Server to GCP is a plus.
