We are seeking a skilled and proactive Azure SQL Developer to support our technology-driven environment by developing, optimizing, and maintaining SQL-based solutions on Microsoft Azure.
The role requires expertise in database development, query optimization, and data analysis while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product capabilities and system performance.
Key responsibilities include developing, optimizing, and maintaining SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions in Microsoft SQL Server/PostgreSQL.
The candidate will design and implement efficient database structures for performance and scalability.
Troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues, including query performance tuning and indexing strategies, is essential.
The role involves assisting in database migrations and cloud optimizations on Azure.
The candidate will work closely with engineering, product, and support teams to address data-related tasks.
Conducting data analysis and reporting to generate insights for business and product teams is required.
Ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with company policies and industry standards is a key responsibility.
The candidate must stay updated with emerging trends and best practices in SQL development and Azure cloud technologies.

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as an SQL Developer in a technology-driven company is required.
Strong experience with Azure SQL/Microsoft SQL Server/PostgreSQL Database and related services is necessary.
Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and triggers is essential.
Experience in query performance tuning, indexing strategies, and database optimization is required.
Familiarity with advanced SQL concepts, including common table expressions, window functions, pivoting, dynamic SQL, and handling JSON/XML data is necessary.
Familiarity with cloud-based databases and security best practices is required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle large-scale datasets are essential.
Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Python, for automation is a plus.
Experience using Postman for API testing and troubleshooting is a plus.
The ability to work in the EST time zone is mandatory.
