Description:
Pavago is seeking a Database Engineer for a contract, full-time, remote position.
The role involves supporting an innovative project that integrates advanced algorithms and dynamic user interactions for a client.
The project focuses on the analysis and visualization of large-scale engineering datasets, requiring expertise in database architecture and optimization.
Key responsibilities include designing, optimizing, and enhancing database systems for large-scale data operations, implementing robust data pipelines, and enhancing database performance through SQL query optimization and indexing.
The engineer will collaborate with the development team to enable real-time user interactions with graph data and assist in refining proprietary algorithms for better insights.
Contributions to the integration of machine learning frameworks for improved data processing and analysis are also expected.
Requirements:
Candidates must have strong knowledge of SQL, C#, and Python for database optimization and algorithm integration, along with familiarity in big data technologies, cloud services (Azure, MongoDB, NoSQL), and machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities are required, as well as strong communication skills and proficiency with project management tools such as Asana, Azure Boards, Slack, or Jira.
A minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in database design and optimization, developing data pipelines for large-scale operations, and working in fast-paced environments with cross-functional teams is necessary.
