Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience working on production-grade desktop applications with real-world users.
Proven experience in building a desktop sync engine at companies like Dropbox, Box, or Google Drive is required.
A strong understanding of distributed systems, including concurrency, conflict resolution, and offline synchronization, is necessary.
Proficiency with Electron for building cross-platform desktop applications is essential.
Candidates should be comfortable developing in both macOS and Windows environments.
Familiarity with TypeScript, Node.js, and React is required.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and optimize performance across multiple platforms is expected.
Experience with version control tools (Git & GitHub) and CI/CD pipelines is necessary.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset for working with cross-functional teams are required.

The compensation range for this role is USD $160,000 to $264,000 if based in the US, and CAD $176,000 to $292,000 if based in Canada.
