Description:

ClickHouse is seeking a Detection and Incident Response Security Engineer to join their security team.
The role involves developing processes, tooling, and automation to enhance incident management response and mitigate business risks.
The engineer will collaborate with various teams to identify detection use cases and automation opportunities.
A threat modeling-centric approach will be applied to incident detection and response.
Responsibilities include maintaining the security logging platform and handling information security events and incidents across ClickHouse products and services.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a background in product security, red teaming, penetration testing, or threat modeling, along with incident detection and response experience.
Strong knowledge and experience with one or more cloud service providers, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this position.
Experience in securing large-scale customer-facing cloud infrastructures is necessary.
Significant development and automation experience is required, with a preference for Golang and Python.
Bonus points for candidates with a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field, previous contributions to open source projects, and security or cloud-related certifications.
