Description:
The Developer Enablement Engineer at Customer.io will be responsible for developing novel solutions to reduce engineering drag.
They will work on a roadmap to solve developer productivity challenges and collaborate with engineering leaders to improve quality and reliability.
The role involves building internal processes and tools to optimize the developer experience at Customer.io.
The Engineer will actively participate in a supportive team, mentoring coworkers through code review, pair programming, and training to enhance collective knowledge and best practices.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have a collaborative mindset, excellent communication skills, and a desire to make decisions in an empathetic and respectful manner.
They must have experience working with engineers, understanding their needs, and providing timely solutions to real-world problems.
Proficiency in Go, front-end technologies like JavaScript and CSS, and experience in UNIX environments are required.
Familiarity with modern collaborative development practices and Ember.js is beneficial.
Ability to deliver high-quality solutions independently and experience working in a distributed company are preferred.
Benefits:
The position offers a starting salary of $145,000 - $160,000 USD (or equivalent in local currency) depending on experience.
