Remote Developer Java/ReactJS

Description:

• GLUO is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join ORIUM, focusing on retail and composable data platform engineering.
• The role involves collaborating with a cross-functional team to explore, experiment, and develop service offerings in retail and composable sectors.
• Responsibilities include providing technical support for Order Management System (OMS) and Point of Sale (POS) systems, developing and maintaining APIs and middleware, tracking and resolving support requests, analyzing incident trends, validating changes, and providing feedback on system improvements.
• The ideal candidate embraces ambiguity, enjoys new challenges, values collaborative work, and has 5+ years of industry experience as a software engineer.
• Required skills include hands-on experience with retail commerce data infrastructure, working with global cloud service providers, proficiency in Java, experience with React, familiarity with microservices architecture, and working with retail data platforms.

• Possess hands-on experience working with global cloud service providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, with a preference for AWS.
• Deep understanding of Computer Science fundamentals and Software Engineering principles.
• Experience with event-driven systems, queuing, AWS Lambda, Java proficiency, and experience with React.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, developing microservices-based applications, and working with retail data platforms.
• Experience with headless/microservices architectures and digital commerce technologies is an asset.
