Remote Developer Relations

Description:

• Nibiru Chain is seeking a talented Developer Relations Engineer to support its growing global developer community.
• This role is highly visible within the organization and the broader web3 ecosystem.
• Responsibilities include managing the day-to-day online presence and staying informed about the crypto ecosystem.
• The position involves helping partners build development tools and platforms, establishing strong relationships with the developer community, and translating their needs into products for a world-class developer experience.
• The role requires a passion for community-building and developing online relationships.
• The Developer Relations Engineer will support the Ecosystem strategy, ensuring the growth and success of new and existing Web3 partnerships and ecosystem projects.
• Duties include creating demo videos, Twitter thread content, tutorials, blog posts, and more to promote Nibiru Chain.
• The engineer will improve developer experience by creating developer-focused tooling, tutorials, and documentation.
• Contributions to the technical design and implementation of new products and protocols on Nibiru Chain are expected.
• The role involves coordinating and participating in workshops, meetups, hackathons, and conferences globally.
• Candidates should be active and engaged in cryptocurrency and NFTs, with a desire to continuously learn about various asset types.
• The position requires comfort working autonomously in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with an emphasis on cross-team communication.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 3+ years of experience working with start-ups and/or scale-ups, particularly in Web3 developer relations.
• A passion and deep understanding of web3 ecosystems and knowledge of the current Layer 1 landscape are essential.
• Experience with programming languages such as Rust, TypeScript, and Golang is required.
• A strong understanding of blockchain ecosystems and the app landscape within Cosmos and elsewhere is necessary.
• Candidates should have a passion for startups and an understanding of how they operate, including the unique characteristics of startup ecosystems and communities.
• Some relevant business-level technical knowledge, including fundamentals of blockchain and web3, is required, with the ability to differentiate between Cosmos and other blockchains.
• Analytical ability to set and assess success metrics/KPIs on a per-project basis is important.
• The ability to communicate Nibiru Chain’s value proposition to startups and developers is necessary.
• Candidates must be able to multitask and manage multiple projects, including work prioritization, planning, and task delegation.
• A high degree of comfort with ambiguity and a knack for quickly ramping up on new skills and functions is expected.
• A self-starter and independent mindset is essential, with a drive to create an impact in the organization.
• Experience with internet culture, memes, Discord, and Twitter is preferred.
• Excellent English and regional language written and oral communication skills are required for frequent communication with community members, team members, and various third parties.
