Jobgether is seeking a Development Lead (React / Python) for a remote position available in the UK, Poland, or South Africa.
The Development Lead will be responsible for leading a scrum team and driving the development of new functionality while scaling the platform to meet growing customer demands and data volumes.
This role involves mentoring team members and providing technical guidance, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
The position emphasizes performance, security, and customer success in a dynamic, remote-first environment that values continuous learning and innovation.
Key accountabilities include ensuring the delivery of high-quality code, fostering technical and personal development within the team, and maintaining high platform performance with a focus on large datasets and 24/7 uptime.

Requirements:

Candidates must have strong commercial experience with React, Typescript, and Python.
Expertise in Node.js and experience working within a software engineering team using git, PRs, and Agile/Scrum methodologies are required.
Previous leadership or mentoring experience is essential, ideally within a remote-first team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts.
Experience in high-performance, big data systems or multi-tenant systems is considered a plus.
Familiarity with technologies such as Django, MongoDB, Google BigQuery, RabbitMQ, and Azure DevOps is advantageous.
