Description:

The position is for a Senior Data Developer at nesto, which can be executed remotely from anywhere in Canada.
The mission of nesto is to provide a positive, empowering, and transparent property financing experience that is simple from start to finish.
The role involves building infrastructure-as-code pipelines, automating file processing, developing ETL solutions, and creating reporting and analytics to support various departments including Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Data Science.
Responsibilities include providing recommendations to improve processes and ensuring that data storage structures are well-organized and user-friendly, as well as creating dashboards that meet the needs of all stakeholders.

Requirements:

A B.S. or M.S. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or another technical field is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Developer is necessary.
Strong skills in Python and SQL are essential.
Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically BigQuery and Airflow, is required.
Familiarity with Pulumi and Terraform is considered a plus.
Experience in the mortgage or financial services industry or in developing analytic dashboards is also a plus.
