Description:
Cority is seeking a DevOps Build & Release Engineer to join their dynamic and collaborative team.
The role involves leveraging technical capabilities to deliver immediate value and influence the long-term roadmap.
The engineer will work closely with software engineering to build, deploy, and monitor systems.
Responsibilities include driving architecture, developing fully automated multi-account global cloud infrastructure, and anticipating future needs.
The engineer will automate DevOps processes, communicate with partner teams, support continuous delivery pipelines, and monitor system performance.
Troubleshooting and analyzing root cause issues in the platform is also a key responsibility.
The role requires reviewing architecture designs, providing support and maintenance, and being open to learning modern technologies.
The position offers opportunities to work independently and as part of a team to deliver new and enhanced functionality.
Requirements:
A university degree in computer science or a related program is required.
A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer is necessary.
Strong understanding of architecting, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems on multi-account cloud platforms like AWS and Azure is essential.
Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies is required.
Technical qualifications include experience with CI practices and tool chains such as dotnet, MSBuild, Java, Maven, Artifactory, and Docker.
Experience with CD practices and tool chains like GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Ansible, and AWS Code Deploy is necessary.
Proficiency in building and maintaining infrastructures using Terraform or Pulumi is required.
Experience with building and troubleshooting Linux and Windows Docker containers and pipeline runners is essential.
Automation scripting experience in Python, Bash, or PowerShell is required.
Knowledge of cloud network and security implementations and management is necessary.
Familiarity with AWS services such as CloudFormation, ECS, and Kubernetes is required.
Experience with monitoring and alerting tools like New Relic, Datadog, and ELK Stack is necessary.
Experience with code quality and security scanning tools such as SonarCloud, Veracode, and Aqua is required.
Nice to have skills include experience with Object-Oriented Programming in C# or Python, Microservices, Multi-tenancy, and cloud certifications in AWS or Azure.
Soft skills include a passion for technology, being a self-starter, excellent communication skills, and experience working with remote teams.
