Description:

The Senior DevOps Engineer position at dLocal involves working on mission-critical applications for big customers like Netflix, Amazon, Nike, Facebook, and Google.
Responsibilities include enhancing the scalability of the infrastructure to support international growth.
Daily collaboration with engineers and involvement in the development process.
Working on infrastructure automation, performance enhancements, and auto-scaling.
Designing solutions focused on uptime, redundancy, disaster recovery, and understanding security implications.
Automating Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployment and configuration using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and Jenkins.

Requirements:

Proficiency in deployment automation, Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or CloudFormation, monitoring, alerting, and dashboarding with ELK and NewRelic.
Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, and Rundeck.
Experience in deploying infrastructure in an AWS cloud environment.
Ability to troubleshoot and configure various AWS services such as EC2, VPC, S3, Route 53, RDS, EKS, ECS, ECR, ALB, AWS Config, Step Functions, Lambda Functions, CloudFront.
Knowledge and experience with Docker, containers, Kubernetes, or similar container orchestration tools.
Proficiency in CI/CD Pipeline toolset experience including GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Gitlab, automated tests, and deployments.
Strong Linux administration skills, understanding Linux core fundamentals, and command line operations.
Understanding of security best practices for Cloud Computing environments.
