Description:
We are looking for a qualified and high-energy DevOps engineer to set the framework for the engineering ops to scale.
Production reliability and developer productivity are our guiding principles, and you will help monitor, operate, and improve/optimize these areas.
You will build new automated frameworks to improve Houzz’s CICD pipelines, testing, and observability capabilities.
You will create and enhance tooling to improve developers' productivity in local and nonproduction environments.
You will improve existing processes and frameworks as part of a rapid delivery cycle.
You will maintain CICD platforms such as GitHub, Jenkins, and Spinnaker.
You will collaborate closely with multiple engineering teams across both infrastructure and product engineering to increase our availability and uptime.
You will provide production on-call support, identifying and resolving issues in an agile environment.
Requirements:
You must have 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
You should have experience with modern scripting languages such as bash and python.
You must be highly proficient with modern Unix/Linux operating systems/distributions.
You should have experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably in a microservices environment.
You must have experience working in containerized environments.
You should have experience with Amazon Web Services.
You must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, team player, and problem-solving skills.
You should be fluent in English, both verbal and written.
Benefits:
This role has an annual starting salary range of $140,000 - $165,000.
