Description:

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our client's team, which is a leading innovator in the online proxy solutions industry.
The role involves contributing to key projects and initiatives focused on system security, infrastructure management, and networking.
You will be responsible for managing and enforcing security best practices across servers, networks, and applications, conducting regular security audits, and managing vulnerabilities.
The position includes designing, implementing, and managing backup systems for disaster recovery and business continuity.
You will perform regular maintenance on Linux/Ubuntu servers to ensure optimal performance, uptime, and scalability.
The role requires implementing and configuring monitoring tools to set up downtime alerts and health checks, ensuring prompt detection and resolution of issues.
You will actively monitor and address system alerts, ensuring minimal downtime and being available during off-hours for critical incidents.
Continuous analysis of system performance, logs, and resolving infrastructure-related issues to prevent downtime is expected.
You will ensure seamless network operations, focusing on proxy setups, load balancing, and traffic routing.
Collaboration on internal tools and services written in Golang, particularly related to proxies and networking, is also part of the job.

Requirements:

Extensive experience in DevOps, infrastructure management, Golang, and system security is required.
You must have the ability to design, implement, and manage backup systems for disaster recovery and business continuity.
Proficiency in setting up and managing monitoring tools and downtime alerts is essential.
A strong understanding of networking protocols, particularly in relation to forward proxies and load balancers, is necessary.
Experience in Golang development for infrastructure and automation tasks is required.
Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker is preferred.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities are essential for this role.
