Description:

  • The DevOps Engineer II will be responsible for playing a significant role in the development, automation, and security across the company's diverse portfolio.
  • They will work with systems like Chef, GitLab, GitLab-CI, Terraform, Azure Pipelines, and Kubernetes to automate testing and delivery of both Windows and Linux-based applications.
  • The role involves working in multiple cloud environments like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Responsibilities include supporting the software development process, writing automated tests, providing escalation support for the SRE team, provisioning and maintaining systems, load balancer configs, firewall rules, databases, and other automation-driven infrastructure tasks, and automating CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and/or relevant experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in DevOps, Software Engineering, or Operations support.
  • Proficiency in various programming/scripting languages like C#, Ruby, PowerShell, bash, Python, etc.
  • Ability to diagnose and remediate complex technical issues effectively.
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration across support and engineering departments.
  • Good understanding of cloud hosting infrastructure, CI/CD automation concepts, and source control management.
  • Passion for security and improving security and testing.
