Description:

  • Skyflow is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer / DevOps Engineer to ensure the reliability of IT services within the company's application portfolio.
  • The role involves designing, building, testing, deploying, changing, and maintaining services with a focus on service stability, deployment quality, technical debt reduction, risk/security compliance, and cost efficiency.
  • Candidates with diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply, and the role requires hands-on experience in infrastructure automation, cloud platforms, coding with Go or Python, DevOps tools, Linux Systems Engineering, Docker, Kubernetes, RDBMS, and automation scripting.
  • Responsibilities include utilizing programming languages like Python and Go, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with teams and clients, automating tools/systems, evaluating reliability and performance, and contributing to building a DevOps culture.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with 2+ years in infrastructure automation and software delivery using DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP.
  • Coding experience with Go (preferred) or Python.
  • Experience with DevOps tools like CloudFormation/Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, and others.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux Systems Engineering, Docker, Kubernetes, RDBMS, and automation scripting.
  • Ability to work with distributed teams, choose the right path for migrations and modernizations, and expertise in application observability patterns and site reliability practices.
  • Extensive experience working with large distributed infrastructures.
