Remote DevOps Engineer

Description:

• CloudKubed, an innovative digital and cloud transformation consultancy, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team in Witney, England.
• The DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining automated processes to streamline software delivery, enhance system reliability, and improve operational efficiency.
• Responsibilities include setting up Azure accounts and subscriptions, deploying fixes and new features using GitHub and GitHub Actions, managing server distributions (Linux and Windows), updating Azure Virtual Machine images, implementing changes in Azure networking and storage services, and utilizing Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for deployment and management of infrastructure.
• The role involves collaborating with development teams to define resource requirements and manage applications on Azure, as well as reducing complexity in infrastructure solutions.

Requirements:

• High level of knowledge and understanding of Azure.
• At least one Azure certification, preferably Azure Administrator Associate (AZ104).
• Experience with TypeScript and Python.
• Proficiency in GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI/CD Pipeline.
• Familiarity with GitOps best practices, Linux Server Distribution, and Microsoft Windows Server.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using tools like Bash, Python, and PowerShell.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, container networking, and storage management.
