Description:

Umpisa Inc. is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support application development teams and core cloud infrastructure.
The role involves acting as L2 support for Engineering Operations during incidents or issues.

Requirements:

Candidates must have AWS SA Associate/SysOps Associate certification or equivalent experience.
Hands-on experience in deploying and running cloud infrastructure, focusing on scalability, failover, and observability is required.
Proficiency in automation using scripting languages is necessary.
Experience with operations and troubleshooting VMs and containers on Linux is essential.
Familiarity with either Kubernetes or Terraform is required.
AWS SA Pro/DevOps Pro certification or equivalent experience is desired.
CKA certification is preferred for candidates with Kubernetes experience.
Hands-on experience with Terraform in production environments is necessary.
Experience with infrastructure deployment via CI/CD pipelines/GitOps is required.
Past or current experience in application development, especially with backend services, is preferred.
