Description:

  • The role of DevOps Engineer is crucial for ensuring smooth operations in a rapid development environment.
  • Responsibilities include ensuring application stability, uptime, and quality of service through observability solutions, testing environments, and CI/CD maintenance.
  • The engineer will work with the development team to deliver features in a stable manner and manage server instances for the company and clients.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record of running and monitoring a planet-scale, production-grade Node.js application is required.
  • Strong observability skills, particularly with metrics, tracing, and logs, are necessary; familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, and Seq is preferred.
  • A mentality of "shipping to production multiple times a day" is essential.
  • Good skills in Javascript/Typescript and a desire to contribute to feature development are required.
  • Working experience with PostgreSQL is necessary.
  • Bonus points for Node.js development skills, experience with other stacks (such as .net desktop apps and Python), a proven track record with open telemetry, GitOps (FluxCD), and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
