Description:
A DevOps Engineer is a skilled professional responsible for leveraging technical expertise to bridge the gap between development and operations teams.
They play a critical role in implementing, maintaining, and optimizing infrastructure and automated processes to support efficient software development and deployment.
DevOps Engineers focus on enhancing collaboration, continuous integration and delivery, and the overall reliability and scalability of software systems.
Key responsibilities include infrastructure automation, continuous integration and deployment, configuration management, containerization and orchestration, monitoring and logging, collaboration and communication, security and compliance, performance optimization, incident management and troubleshooting, and documentation and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Experienced in deploying and managing applications on public, private, or hybrid cloud platforms, primarily OPENSTACK Platform.
Skilled in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
Proficient in containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes & Kubevirt.
Knowledgeable in configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
Proficient in implementing and managing monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.
Skilled in scripting languages (Ansible, Python, Bash, Ruby) for automation.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Knowledgeable in security best practices and problem-solving skills.
