Description:

As a DevOps Engineer assigned to the Othaim/Octopus project, you will contribute to the enhancement of CI/CD processes and the automation of infrastructure provision.
Your expertise will directly impact the speed and quality of software deployments, ensuring that Othaim/Octopus continues to thrive in the evolving digital landscape.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage scalable deployment processes.
You will administer and optimize cloud environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
You will enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline code releases, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
You will leverage configuration management tools to automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployments.
You will implement monitoring solutions to proactively identify issues and ensure system integrity.
You will advocate for and enforce security best practices while maintaining compliance across all deployments.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.
Demonstrated experience in a DevOps or related engineering role is necessary.
A solid understanding of Linux systems and cloud environment management, preferably AWS, is essential.
Hands-on experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes is required.
Proficiency in Docker for containerization of applications is necessary.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI is required.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform or Ansible, is essential.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash is required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are necessary.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required to enable collaboration across teams.
