Description:

The company is seeking a DevOps Engineer to work remotely in the US, reporting to the Chief Technology Officer.
The role involves collaborating with development teams to enhance delivery, improve code quality and security, and streamline processes.
Responsibilities include identifying and resolving bottlenecks in coding and deployment, managing development and production environments, and deploying applications across cloud and on-prem environments.
The engineer will also create and enforce coding standards, automate processes, and track metrics to support sustainable farming practices.
Requirements:
A BS/MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering is required, with a background in Mathematics and Statistics being a plus.
Candidates must have proven coding and scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Shell) and hands-on experience in implementing large-scale cloud architectures.
Expertise in automating infrastructure provisioning using tools like Puppet, Chef, Ansible, and Terraform is necessary.
In-depth knowledge of both on-prem and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure) is required, including services, storage, networking, and caching management.
Experience with container technologies such as Docker or OpenShift for scalable deployments is essential.
Solid experience in continuous integration using tools like Jenkins, Hudson, Maven, Ant, Git, and Sonar is needed.
A strong understanding of Agile methodologies and their application in DevOps environments is required.
Candidates should possess strong problem-solving skills and a curiosity-driven passion for learning to tackle new challenges.
