Description:

The DevOps Engineer at Element will be responsible for modernizing federal client's software development and operational processes.
The role involves working with multidisciplinary software development, testing, and operations teams to streamline software development and deployment processes.
Key responsibilities include expanding Cloud and DevOps skills, developing CI/CD pipelines, utilizing AWS services for secure infrastructure platforms, and collaborating with software engineering and operations teams.
The engineer will update existing applications, integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle, and support engineering teams in cloud environments.
The position requires active participation in program increment planning and proactive exploration of alternative solutions.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Solid understanding of virtualization, containerization, networking, OS, etc.
Demonstrated experience with programming languages such as Java or Python.
4 or more years of experience building, deploying, and troubleshooting containerized applications.
4 or more years of experience with CI/CD and CM tools, modern frameworks, AWS, orchestration tools, and agile tools.
Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe®).
US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.
Must reside in the Continental US.
Depending on the government agency, specific requirements may include a public trust background check or security clearance.

Competitive salary range of $80,000-$185,000 per year.
