The Infrastructure Engineer will focus on Infrastructure as Code, Security, and Business Continuity planning.
The technologies hosted on AWS include Ruby on Rails, Go, React, Aerospike, Redis, ScyllaDB, Elasticsearch, and others.
The position is remote and open to candidates located anywhere in Canada.
Responsibilities include optimizing AWS infrastructure, establishing tooling and automation processes, performing security assessments, developing infrastructure and security guidelines, and implementing observability solutions.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 3 years of professional work experience in Infrastructure, DevOps, or Site Reliability.
A strong prior working knowledge of AWS technologies is required.
Strong experience with Kubernetes containerized services is necessary.
Familiarity with establishing KPIs on critical systems and operations is expected.
Prior experience managing instrumentation for complex AWS environments at scale is essential.
Experience with technologies such as Terraform, Vault, Nomad, Packer, Vagrant, Boundary, Consul, Waypoint, Redis, Aerospike, Go, ScyllaDB, Elasticsearch, RDS, Grafana, Prometheus, Kafka, Envoy, and Nginx is a large plus.
