Description:

  • The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for driving improvements in availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of services.
  • They will enhance alerting and escalation mechanisms, create and maintain dashboards for actionable insights, and build/maintain platform report cards.
  • The role involves identifying opportunities for creating libraries and automated standards for improving reliability and observability.
  • The engineer will track improvements in NPS/customer satisfaction, analyze signals for service improvements, and define high engineering standards and best practices.
  • They will implement mitigation strategies for incidents, collaborate with engineering/product teams, and drive improvements in DORA Metrics.
  • The position requires moving quickly to address technical debt effectively.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a DevOps/Cloud Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer.
  • Familiarity with Python and Python testing best practices.
  • Experience in agile environments and working within AWS with managed products.
  • Strong skills in automation tooling, containers, designing scalable systems, and monitoring tools.
  • Participation in a formal 24x7 on-call rotation and interest in large-scale decoupled systems.
  • An interest in the cannabis industry and/or the LeafLink brand.
