Description:
The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for driving improvements in availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of services.
They will enhance alerting and escalation mechanisms, create and maintain dashboards for actionable insights, and build/maintain platform report cards.
The role involves identifying opportunities for creating libraries and automated standards for improving reliability and observability.
The engineer will track improvements in NPS/customer satisfaction, analyze signals for service improvements, and define high engineering standards and best practices.
They will implement mitigation strategies for incidents, collaborate with engineering/product teams, and drive improvements in DORA Metrics.
The position requires moving quickly to address technical debt effectively.
Requirements:
5+ years of professional experience as a DevOps/Cloud Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer.
Familiarity with Python and Python testing best practices.
Experience in agile environments and working within AWS with managed products.
Strong skills in automation tooling, containers, designing scalable systems, and monitoring tools.
Participation in a formal 24x7 on-call rotation and interest in large-scale decoupled systems.
An interest in the cannabis industry and/or the LeafLink brand.
