Remote DevOps Engineer

Description:

• The DevOps Engineer will be part of a software team dedicated to modernizing the UI Tax system using Agile methodologies.
• Responsibilities include providing technical leadership in AWS cloud infrastructure, optimizing application performance, and implementing advanced cloud solutions.
• Tasks involve designing, building, and maintaining efficient AWS infrastructure, managing AWS services, creating unit and integration tests, and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• The role also includes monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, collaborating with software engineers, and ensuring security best practices and compliance controls in AWS.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 8 years of experience with AWS services like EKS, ECR, S3, Lambda, and Istio, with test coverage.
• 8 years of hands-on development experience with IaC tools like Terraform or AWS CDK.
• 5 years of experience with AWS Well-Architected Frameworks.
• 8 years of experience with scripting languages such as Typescript or Python.
• 8 years of experience building pipelines using CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub, GitHub Actions, etc.
• Solid understanding of security best practices in AWS environments.
• 8 years of experience with networking concepts and protocols.
• 8 years of experience with configuration management and orchestration tooling.
• 8 years of strong networking experience, including knowledge of AWS networking services.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills.
• 8 years of experience working in Agile methodology.
