Description:
Verisian is seeking a DevOps Engineer to manage the infrastructure for their engineering team and customers.
The role involves working with the latest technologies to create efficient and secure cloud infrastructure and application deployments.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting customer issues, identifying root causes, and deploying fixes to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
The application stack includes Postgres, Next.js, and Java, deployed via Docker/Kubernetes in the cloud.
The team utilizes code analysis pipelines based on ANTLR4, with code hosted on Git and deployed using GitHub Actions.
The focus is on core products like Verisian Explorer and Validator, which enhance the analysis and validation of clinical trials.
Requirements:
Candidates must have substantial experience in architecting and implementing cloud infrastructure and application deployments at scale, using tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, or Docker.
A strong understanding of networking and experience troubleshooting integrated infrastructures in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is required.
Experience in building and managing continuous integration, testing, and deployment workflows using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins is essential.
Candidates should have experience monitoring infrastructure and applications for health and performance.
Experience in building or maintaining data processing workflows using queues and event-driven triggers, such as Argo, is necessary.
A strong understanding of client/server architecture is required.
Excellent documentation and communication skills are essential for this role.
Candidates should have a strong conviction for SRE principles and a collaborative, mission-driven mindset.
An iterative mindset and the belief that "if it’s not code and documented, it doesn’t exist" are important.
