Description:

  • We are currently seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our growing and dynamic team.
  • The DevOps engineer will be involved in all aspects of DevOps and SecOps practices within the company, utilizing the latest technologies and trends in the industry.
  • You will establish automation techniques and guidelines in working with the development, QA, and Product teams within an AWS environment, using tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Kubernetes, ECS, KMS, MSK, Terraform, and others.
  • Having a security background is a big plus in SOC and PCI compliance.
  • Responsibilities include maintaining infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
  • You will maintain and create Dockerfiles and Helm Charts for Kubernetes deployments.
  • You will create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Groovy, and Ansible.
  • Experience with Python, Ruby, Bash, or another scripting language is required.
  • You will use ticket management systems such as Jira and Confluence to manage work priorities.
  • You will work closely with developers on the team to troubleshoot issues.
  • The ability to clearly articulate and communicate complex technical ideas to non-DevOps colleagues is essential.
  • You must be able to understand project requirements and be innovative in finding solutions in highly regulated environments.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3+ years experience in the DevOps field is required.
  • A background in Configuration Management (Puppet, Chef, Ansible preferred) is necessary.
  • Experience working with CI/CD systems and technologies is essential.
  • Experience with Version Control Systems (subversion, git preferred) is required.
  • You should have experience with developing production-grade code in a DevOps organization.
  • A high level of personal integrity and the ability to professionally handle confidential matters with an appropriate level of judgment and maturity is important.
  • An understanding of cloud, SaaS, and IoT architectures and their implications to information security and data privacy strategies is required.
  • A high degree of initiative, dependability, and the ability to work both collaboratively and with little supervision is necessary.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate security and risk-related concepts to technical and non-technical audiences are essential.
