Description:
- Define configuration management and deployment strategies for applications managed within the unit of the European Institution.
- Define and maintain CI/CD pipelines in tools like GitLab.
- Deploy CI/CD pipelines on virtual machines.
- Interact with the European Institution's staff and stakeholders to identify needs and requirements.
- Implement and configure applications to support new functionalities.
- Write and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD processes and pipelines.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, especially OpenShift.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with HELM chart, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and GitLab runners.
- Ability to define and implement custom acceptance tests.
- Knowledge of internet protocols, service-oriented architectures, OOP, software architectural patterns, Python, and Javascript.
- Proficiency in English.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Capability to work in an international/multi-cultural environment.
