Description:
Define configuration management and deployment strategies for applications managed within the unit of the European Institution.
Define and maintain CI/CD pipelines in tools like GitLab.
Deploy CI/CD pipelines on virtual machines.
Interact with the European Institution's staff and stakeholders to identify needs and requirements.
Implement and configure applications to support new functionalities.
Write and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements:
In-depth knowledge of DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD processes and pipelines.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, especially OpenShift.
Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
Familiarity with HELM chart, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and GitLab runners.
Ability to define and implement custom acceptance tests.
Knowledge of internet protocols, service-oriented architectures, OOP, software architectural patterns, Python, and Javascript.
Proficiency in English.
Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Capability to work in an international/multi-cultural environment.
