Remote DevOps Engineer

Description:

• As a DevOps Engineer at 3Pillar, you will be responsible for streamlining processes, enhancing deployment strategies, and ensuring peak efficiency and reliability of innovative projects.
• You will work on projects that redefine urban living, establish new media channels for enterprise companies, and drive innovation in healthcare.
• This role focuses on creating agile solutions that support continuous integration, continuous delivery, and high-quality product releases.
• Key responsibilities include automation and optimization, implementing CI/CD pipelines, overseeing cloud management, monitoring system performance, and promoting collaboration among teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Equivalent practical experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a high-level programming language like Python, Java, Ruby, or Go, with the ability to script and automate tasks efficiently.
• At least 2 years of experience with automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef for automating deployment, scaling, and management of application processes.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including deployment, management, and operation of scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems.
• Expertise in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for container deployment, scaling, and management.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and ELK stack for effective system monitoring and log management.
• Knowledge of source control tools, particularly Git, emphasizing version control and collaboration in a distributed development environment.
• Understanding of networking, security, and database management for comprehensive system architecture and security considerations.
• Exceptional English communication skills for effective exchange of information with team members, stakeholders, and customers.
