Description:

Sarwa is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to build the infrastructure and tools for their investment and personal finance platform.
The role involves working alongside the engineering team to build and maintain Sarwa's cloud infrastructure and integration pipelines.
The position is remote-first, allowing flexibility in work location, with an office available in Abu Dhabi.
The ideal candidate will help shape the company with their energy, skill, and personality while tackling evolving technology challenges.
Responsibilities include taking ownership of key infrastructure projects, implementing CI/CD processes, and maintaining infrastructure through automation.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 3 years of demonstrated experience with modern DevOps tools and cloud environments, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) or similar cloud environments is required.
At least 2 years of experience in containerization technologies, specifically Docker, is necessary.
Candidates should have 2+ years of experience working with Kubernetes in a production environment.
Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar languages, particularly for testing, deployment, and monitoring, is essential.
Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code frameworks, such as CloudFormation or CDK, is required.
Knowledge in networking and security is considered a significant plus.
Candidates must have experience building CI/CD pipelines.
A genuine openness to giving and receiving feedback is expected.
Excellent cross-functional communication skills and a desire to learn from and educate peers are necessary.
High curiosity and a proactive approach to finding the best tools for the job are essential traits.
