Description:

Veeva Systems is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build a robust, scalable, and operational infrastructure to support its multi-billion dollar customer base.
The role focuses on ensuring Veeva's products are delivered quickly and with high quality.
Responsibilities include providing software development expertise in cloud architecture, implementing DevOps practices, and managing CI/CD workflows.
The engineer will utilize tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes for infrastructure management.
The position aims to minimize reliability-related failures by focusing on durability, availability, performance, and correctness.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in DevOps roles, with a focus on tooling, automation, and distributed systems development.
Extensive experience in designing and programming applications within an AWS Cloud environment is required.
Proficiency in container and serverless technologies is necessary.
Hands-on experience with Ansible or Terraform and docker orchestrations like Kubernetes or OpenShift is essential.
Expertise in configuration management platforms and experience in developing with Python is required.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Scala, Go, or similar is needed.
Experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or Codefresh is important.
Familiarity with monitoring frameworks for tracking infrastructure and application health is expected.
Excellent skills in proposal writing, project estimation, presentation, and documentation are required.
Candidates must be located in the AST, CST, or EST time zone.
Strong mentoring skills with a proven record of team improvement are sought.
