Description:
Aluxion is seeking a skilled and passionate DevOps Engineer to join their team and contribute to the success of client projects.
This is a flexible, part-time role that allows for remote work from any country within the European Union.
The position is a 100% remote opportunity and is part of a 3-month project.
The DevOps Engineer will manage and optimize AWS-based infrastructure with a strong emphasis on security, monitoring, and automation.
Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining AWS infrastructure, managing Kubernetes clusters, developing infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, implementing CI/CD pipelines, monitoring infrastructure issues, ensuring security and compliance, collaborating with development teams, and staying updated on DevOps technologies.
Requirements:
Proven experience in DevOps with a strong focus on AWS services, especially EKS.
Proficiency in Helm, Terraform, and CI/CD tools like GitLab is required.
Hands-on expertise with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki is essential.
In-depth knowledge of AWS security practices and IAM policies is necessary.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are a must.
Preferred qualifications include experience with Karpenter for Kubernetes optimization, familiarity with Apache Spark, knowledge of security tools like Trend Micro, and experience with MongoDB.
