Remote Devops Engineer

Description:

• Sarwa is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to build the infrastructure and tools for their investment and personal finance platform.
• The role involves working alongside the engineering team to build and maintain Sarwa's cloud infrastructure and integration pipelines.
• The position is remote-first, allowing flexibility in work location, with an office available in Abu Dhabi.
• The ideal candidate will help shape the company with their energy, skill, and personality while managing the platform used by thousands to handle their financial lives.
• Responsibilities include taking ownership of key infrastructure projects, implementing CI/CD processes, and maintaining infrastructure through automation.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least 3 years of demonstrated experience with modern DevOps tools and cloud environments, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) or similar cloud environments is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in containerization technologies, specifically Docker, is necessary.
• Candidates should have 2+ years of experience working with Kubernetes in a production environment.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar languages, particularly for testing, deployment, and monitoring, is essential.
• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code frameworks, such as CloudFormation or CDK, is required.
• Knowledge in networking and security is considered a significant plus.
• Candidates must have experience building CI/CD pipelines.
• A genuine openness to giving and receiving feedback is expected.
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills and a desire to learn from and educate peers are necessary.
• High curiosity and a proactive approach to finding the best tools for the job are essential traits.
