Description:
MNTN is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support the MNTN platform and Engineers.
The role requires deep knowledge of system administration and AWS, along with the ability to collaborate with various Developers.
Responsibilities include managing EKS clusters, EC2 instances, S3 buckets, and other AWS resources.
The engineer will use Terraform for provisioning AWS infrastructure and design modern continuous integration and deployment solutions.
The position involves implementing applications in cloud infrastructure and container technologies, such as Kubernetes and Docker.
The engineer will develop cloud tools for automation, monitoring, and resource utilization, leveraging scripting capabilities and creating runbooks for recurring tasks.
Collaboration with software engineering groups to evaluate performance, scaling, and speed requirements is essential.
The role also requires a focus on security, providing recommendations to enhance the security of infrastructure and processes.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience with AWS and Linux Systems Administration.
In-depth knowledge of AWS services, including VPC, IAM, EC2, EKS, S3, and others, is required.
A background in building distributed, server-based infrastructure supporting high transaction volumes in critical environments is necessary.
Experience with ArgoCD is a plus.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python is required.
Familiarity with Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible is essential.
An excellent understanding of microservices architecture is necessary.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required for this position.
