  • Solvd Inc. is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their growing team.
  • Responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure.
  • The role involves automating infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • The engineer will set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate the deployment process to various environments (dev, test, prod).
  • Implementing monitoring solutions to ensure system reliability and performance is a key responsibility.
  • The engineer will set up alerts and dashboards to track system health and performance.
  • Security best practices and compliance requirements must be implemented, including managing access controls and conducting security audits.
  • Collaboration with development and operations teams is essential for seamless integration and delivery.
  • The engineer will participate in planning and review meetings.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure and application issues is part of the role.
  • Providing support for incident response and root cause analysis is required.
  • The engineer will identify and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency.
  • Continuous optimization of performance, cost, and scalability of infrastructure is expected.
  • Comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures must be created and maintained.
  • The engineer will develop and implement backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineer role.
  • Demonstrated experience in automating deployments, managing large-scale applications, and implementing IaC is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services, including Virtual Machines, App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, Azure Storage, and Azure Networking is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Azure Bicep, or Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is necessary.
  • Understanding of Azure networking concepts such as virtual networks, subnetting, VPN gateways, and load balancers is required.
  • Experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and IAM is essential.
  • Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is required.
  • Candidates must have experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
  • Proficiency in Git, including branching strategies, pull requests, and merge conflicts is necessary.
  • Experience scripting in PowerShell, Bash, Ruby, or Python for task automation is required.
  • Candidates should have experience with monitoring solutions and tools like AWS CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus, and Grafana.
  • Understanding of Azure Active Directory (AAD) and role-based access control (RBAC) is necessary.
  • Familiarity with integrating security checks into CI/CD pipelines and knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools is required.
  • Experience with collaboration tools like Azure Boards, JIRA, Slack, or Microsoft Teams is essential.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for CI/CD issues, system errors, and deployment failures are necessary.
  • Cloud certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert are preferred.
