Remote DevOps Engineer

Description:

• The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for multiple development teams.
• They will automate infrastructure creation and maintenance using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and self-written scripts.
• The engineer will manage and enhance Kubernetes clusters in the cloud.
• Creating, improving, and maintaining Helm charts for various services will be part of their responsibilities.
• Developing observability and monitoring tools continuously.
• Participating in engineering discussions and contributing to future product development.
• Writing documentation for other engineers.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience working with Linux-based systems.
• Strong proficiency in CI/CD tools, with a preference for Gitlab.
• Familiarity with monorepo and monorepo manager Rush.js or similar.
• Experience with pnpm, Nexus storage, and Kubernetes (provisioning and supporting clusters in the cloud).
• Hands-on experience with AWS and scripting languages like Bash and Python.
• Proficiency in maintaining reverse-proxy VPS (nginx) and working with databases like PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, and Cassandra.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus/VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, and EFK stack.
• Setting up Vault mechanism for managing secrets and familiarity with IAC and configuration management tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Knowledge of GitOps approach (Flux) and containerization/virtualization.
• Practical experience with Docker and kaniko.
• Advanced level of English proficiency.
